Need to interact python and COM? C++ and COM? Here are the best resources I could find and were terrificly useful. I hope you find them as helpful as I did.

COM Resources

Here is a guide to implementing COM servers and clients in python:

http://oreilly.com/catalog/pythonwin32/chapter/ch12.html (be sure tu check this quick python + com guide if you're in a hurry http://timgolden.me.uk/pywin32-docs/html/com/win32com/HTML/QuickStartClientCom.html)

And a similar (but quite more complicated guide) on how to implement COM servers and clients in C++ http://www.codeguru.com/cpp/com-tech/activex/tutorials/article.php/c5567/Step-by-Step-COM-Tutorial.htm

(Also, be sure to check http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/12673/Calling-Managed-NET-C-COM-Objects-from-Unmanaged-C)

Obviously, lots of MSDN reading will be necessary, but the working basis are all there!
